The Psychological Impact and Consequences of Social Media — Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016

Parent Network of Catholic High Schools presents The Psychological Impact and Consequences of Social Media. Sr. Marysia Weber, physician certified by the American Board of Psychiatry/Neurology, will tell us how cell phones and video games are rewiring the brains of young people and what we, as parents can do to help guide our teens toward healthy, intellectual, emotional and spiritual development. Julie Smith, university professor and author of the book “Master the Media” will speak about social media and how it is changing our definitions of education, communication and relationships. Please join us for this informative event at 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016, at St. Joseph’s Academy (2307 S. Lindberg Blvd).
